Hanley Goes Long Ball In Dramatic Ninth Inning Victory!

Hanley Ramirez excited the crowd with a walk off homerun.

Edwin Encarnacion hit his second homerun in two games.

Edwin Encarnacion homered at Camden Yards as the SoCal Wildfires staged a
comeback win over the Superior Blues by the count of 4 to 3.
 
SoCal scored the winning runs in the 9th inning with 2 runs utilizing 2 base
hits.  Mike Stanton led off and he ripped a one-base hit.  Hanley Ramirez
stepped up to the plate and he clubbed a two-run home run giving SoCal the
win much to the delight of the home town crowd.  SoCal out-hit Superior for
the game, 9 hits to 6.  
 
The victory went to Bobby Cassevah(1-0) who went 1 and 2/3 innings, allowing
no runs. The losing pitcher was Rafael Betancourt(0-1) in relief.  He allowed
1 hit and no walks without retiring a batter.  
 
John Fredriksen was all smiles after the ballgame, 'It sure was looking pretty
dim there for a while, but our guys never gave up - and neither did our fans
